Solar Arrays

Lomond Energy has developed a strong track record within the renewable energy and Feed-in Tariff market sectors and we are keen to help you realise the solar energy potential of your land.

We are able undertake the full spectrum of appraisal and development of projects ranging from their site assessment through planning, financing construction and operation. Although we have previously predominantly worked in the wind market we have a small portfolio of solar developments at a feasibility / pre-application development stage and are keen to increase our project porfolio in this exciting market.

Sites located in the south and east of Scotland are of most interest to us but we would pleased to hear from any landowner who thinks their land may be able to accomodate a ground mounted or large shed roof solar array. We are actively investigating solar array developments upwards of 250kW, which is equivalent to approximately 0.6 hectares or 1.5 acres in land take.

We offer an attractive 'no-risk' rental package to landowners and can also bring our long track record of planning, development and project management experience to JV agreements along the same lines as our successful partnerships on wind projects.
