Merkins Wind Farm

Merkins Farm is a large hill farm currently reliant on sheep grazing as its main business.  As a remote wind farm site it enjoys good exposure to the prevailing winds off the Clyde estuary, yet relates well as a potential green energy powerhouse for the nearby urban areas of the Vale of Leven and Dumbarton.
